Hunts

Northern British Columbia

What to Expect

Hunts with Terminus Mountain Outfitters are primarily conducted on horseback, and both a guide and a wrangler accompany you. Accommodations are either cabins or canvas tents equipped with wood stoves, allowing you to dry off after a wet day in the mountains. However, due to the varying terrain, we have some hunts that involve backpacking over short and longer distances supported by our mounted crew. Our sturdy mountain horses are seasoned and well-trained for your safety. Additionally, floatplane support is vital in ensuring all logistics can be realized effectively, efficiently, and safely. We accommodate rifle hunters as well as archery hunters. As any archery hunter knows, needing to get in archery range can lower your odds but adds a level of challenge and excitement that is hard to top.

During the hunt, meals will be a combination of hearty comfort food, supplemented by freeze-dried food (Peak Refuel) on those late nights and days where you have to ‘pack light’. Any special diets and requests will be accommodated to the best of our ability.

We suggest, that you come well prepared, both mentally and physically. This will also make your hunt the best it can be and an adventure of a lifetime. Finally, as mountain weather changes quickly thru areas, it can interrupt hunting. In that case, take advantage of the down time to rest up and relax.

No matter your quest, we have the guides to give you the best odds to provide your individual and successful hunt!
