Prepare Yourself
Make sure to be in good physical shape and prepare yourself for this backcountry hunt as you and your guide will spend a lot of time backpacking, glassing and riding through various valleys, over mountain ridges and summits. You should be comfortable with sudden weather changes and altitudes around 7500’ max. A typical hike will be approximately 2 – 5 hours. The better shape you can be in for the hunt, the more enjoyable and successful it will be.
