Canadian Moose
Big Game Animals
At Terminus, we are only 125 miles from the Yukon border which was the deciding line for Boone and Crockett for Canadian Moose and Alaska Yukon Moose. For this reason, we have some of the largest Canadian Moose genetics in British Columbia and consistently harvest trophies with an average 54″ to 58″ in width and typically take bulls over the 60” mark every season!
Several bulls in Boone and Crockett have come from this area over the years because of the excellent habitat and remoteness.
In this 3500 square mile concession, we only take 12-16 moose hunters per year to keep our success rate and quality high.
Ultimate Remoteness
Prepare Yourself
At the beginning of september, we start with exclusive Moose (1×1 10- day) as well as Combo hunts (1×1 12- day), typically by horseback or riverboat and include another species like Mountain Goat or Caribou. Canadian Moose are velvet but hard horned and later in fall, their antlers are fully stripped while the bulls are in the Rut. As the weather changes, the hunt changes and gets even more exciting with dropping temperatures. Very close calling encounters are more than frequent.
